David Harrel, guitarist and vocalist of the Chicago band The Local Void asked me to create a video for his single entitled Redwood. We were on opposite ends of the Atlantic so I wasn't able to film the band myself. Instead, he sent me videos of him singing and playing guitar.
I generated a matrix of squares that danced along the shadows and highlights of the video. In this world, the camera goes in and out to explore the depths of a 3D world transferred to 2D and back to 3D.
